Los Fuegos

This is an infographic based on Ray Bradbury’s book “Fahrenheit 451” in addition to the François Truffaut movie (1966). Worked on the similarities and differences of both, it is a graphic narrative between technical data and the poetry of the story written in 1953.

Approach
F451 takes place in a dystopian future where books are burned, since they are prohibited in that society. The approach for this piece was to use the language of the maps to locate both the characters and the actions — and their interactions —, taking water as the main element (both in color and texture) since it is the antagonistic element of fire and subtly protagonist at the end of the story.
